1. Acceptance

2. Who can use RentLao

You must be at least 18 and capable of entering into a binding contract under Indian law. You must complete identity verification before you can use the platform, and you must give accurate information when you do.

Broker accounts are created on our website. Tenant and owner accounts are created in our mobile applications. Team member accounts are created by the broker who owns the account. [PLACEHOLDER]

3. Your account

You are responsible for everything done through your account. Sign-in uses a one-time code sent to your registered mobile number, so keep that number secure and tell us immediately if you lose access to it.

4. What RentLao does — and does not do

This section is important, and is not boilerplate:

• RentLao is a platform. We are not a party to any lease agreed between an owner and a tenant, and we are not an agent of either.
• Lease registration is completed offline, in person at the Sub-Registrar under IGR Maharashtra. We help you prepare, and we record the registered document — we do not register it for you.
• We do not provide legal advice. Anything the platform generates, including lease drafts and answers about your lease, is for information only.

5. Listings and content

6. Fees and payments

7. Things you must not do

• List a property you are not authorised to list.
• Use the platform to break the law, or to harass anyone.

8. Suspension and closure
